Get Ready for ARFABET!

Howdy, beautiful person! Let this serve as the official announcement that I will not be taking any custom orders until August 2012 so I can work on my second book Arfabet--an alphabet book for dog lovers and foodies!

I am planning on launching the Kickstarter campaign in the next few days, so check back if you want to be in on the fun as I create the entire book in one action-packed month! The best way to come along for the ride is to pledge to my Kickstarter fundraiser--then you'll receive my bi-weekly updates directly in your email box! I'll also post updates on this blog and the Bunny with a Toolbelt Facebook page, so I invite you to come along for the ride and make a book with me!

Wednesday

measure-phant?

I just got this great image from Melissa Stiles who was taking measurements for one of my elephant pendants she scored in my most recent Kickstarter campaign. She couldn't help but note that the measuring tape looked very elephant-like and snapped this photo to prove it!

Monday

Friday

And the winners are.....

Well, it's time to reveal the two winners of the Pachyderm Portmanteau contest! I had 34 entries in the contest, as you can see in past blog postings during the month of May. As stated in the official rules, the entries received before May 10 counted as three entries, those received between May 11-21 counted as two entries, and the ones I received after May 22 counted as one entry. I assigned each entry a number, and used random.org to help me choose two numbers at random.

the first winner was the Rainbowphant!

and the second winner was the Caraphant!

Thank you again to everyone who participated!

If you missed the festivities, I have two more events scheduled this year! The ElePhoto Booth will be at Green Bean Books during the Alberta Street Fair on August 11, 2012!

And the entire Pachyderm Portmanteau Party (includes elephant making demo, Pachyderm Portmanteau drawing and ElePhoto Booth) will be at the Museum of Contemporary Craft on Saturday, December 15th, 2012 from noon to 2pm.

Last of the Pachyderm Portmanteaus

Phew! A very last minute entry arrived for in the Pachyderm Portmanteau contest--part of the free festivities this month to celebrate Elephabet!

The Pachyderm Portmanteau Contest is officially closed! I will pick the winner today and announce it here on the Bunny with a Toolbelt blog and Facebook page. The lucky winner gets an original elephant made by me of their drawing!!

Of course, you may opt to pledge to my current Kickstarter campaign at the top level and bypass the contest altogether--this guarantees that I will make an elephant from any custom design you submit or think of! I am currently 97% of the way to my goal, so your pledge could very well put me over the top!
