Limerick #9!

American Made, hand-crafted for you,
Pugs, squirrels and ‘gators – your own private zoo!
A marriage isn’t complete
without pink bunnies or sheep
atop wedding cakes, two by two.

Limerick #8!

“Every tree has a story,” she said,
as carved animals formed in her head.
What’s more “American Made”
than a girl with saw blades?
Martha, help her dreams be more widespread.

Saturday

Limerick #7

There once was a kitty called Cloud
who had a tail tail that made him quite proud.
His body of blue
with splotches of no hue,
contrasted with the stripes colored quite loud

Oh Martha you are such a tease
for getting us crafters to please
you with our vote-getting
it causes such sweating
'cause you know my work is the bee's knees.

Limerick #4

There once was a girl and with wood
created what few of us could
she ‘Martha’ed’ with paint,
she ‘Martha-ed’ with glue
the only thing left is to be ‘Martha’ed’ by you!

Wednesday

Limerick #3

Hey Martha, could I bend your ear
'bout a bunny who makes things quite dear
out of recycled wood
for the earth it's quite good
just like a cold IPA beer.

Don't forget to vote for me today in the Martha Stewart American Made Awards!

and here's the rules for the limerick contest too.

Tuesday

first entry! and second entry! the contest is alive!

Hurrah! We have two entries to the limerick contest! I'm posting all entries here, but want to remind everyone of the first rule of the contest, which is to write a limerick to Martha Stewart to convince her to pick me for her American Made Award!  Still, I love a good limerick and these are too good not to post.  Thanks Vicki!!

There once was a bird on a twig
who stood there as if she were big
but she wasn't at all
she was really quite small
although she could eat like a pig!

Puss had a heart and a ring
tied to her tail with a string
she brought tears of laughter
to all who came after
and taught them all how to sing!

Monday

Woohoo! It's time for a limerick contest!!!!

THE BUNNY WITH A TOOLBELT LIMERICK CONTEST (AKA PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PICK ME MARTHA!)

1. Your limerick MUST be on the topic of convincing Martha Stewart to pick me for a winner in her American Made contest.

2. I strongly suggest you choose an item from my Etsy shop to use as your muse--that way I can illustrate your entry with a nice photo.

3. Must follow traditional limerick form, as in the Edward Lear example above, or see this link on how to write a limerick.

4. I know it's traditional to be bawdy, but these limericks must employ clean language and activities. The point is to make Martha laugh and think I'm cool (and me too if you want to WIN!)

5.  You can enter up to six different limericks per day. Send them to me at bunnywithatoolbelt@gmail.com by midnight PST on October 13th, 2014, so I can publish them all before the voting period at Martha Stewart HQ runs out.

6.  Vote vote vote vote vote vote every day for me! Click here and employ whatever you need to remember that you can vote six times daily! Let's show Martha what Bunny with a Toolbelt fans are made of!

7.  Top winner will get $250 to spend in the Bunny with a Toolbelt Etsy shop and two more runners up will each receive $100 to spend in the very same shop!

8.  Woohooooo! I'm already a finalist. Can you help make me a winner? If so, I think that makes us ALL winners!  Woohoooooooo!
